Prof. Greg Gray elected to membership in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR)
 
Professor Greg Gray was recently elected to membership to the prestigious US think tank and publisher, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) for his international One Health research involving emerging infectious diseases. The CFR describes itself as “a leading foreign policy organization” where "Individual members include many of the most prominent leaders in international affairs who come together to engage in nonpartisan conversation on the most salient policy and governance issues of the day.”  Congratulations Professor Gray!

Professor Greg Gray delivers plenary lecture at the CSTE Annual Conference in Raleigh 
On June 4th, 2019 (Raleigh, NC) Professor Greg Gray gave a One Health plenary lecture, Pigs, Poultry, and Public Health: Anticipating the Next Pandemic Threat, to the 2019 Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists Annual Conference (>1600 registrants).

Duke One Health Team Member Anfal Abdelgadir receives PEO International Peace Scholarship
 
Duke Global Health MSc student and Duke One Health team member, Anfal Abdelgadir, has been awarded a P.E.O International Peace Scholarship for the coming year 2019 – 2020. The scholarship is provided for graduate studies in the United States and Canada to selected women from other countries. Congratulations, Anfal!
